Drop an eggcup full of milk into the bath with anything oily; it works pretty well as an emulsifier :)

Re: Choice and sources of Jars

I don't know if this will help - we get through about a kg of coconut oil a month, and the stuff we buy comes in mason jars. It's not any more expensive than buying it in a binnable container, about a tenner a kg, but the jars are resuseable, and will hold 1L. Not as easy as just buying the jars you...

Re: WHO warns vaccinated travellers could still need to be quarantined

Re: WHO warns vaccinated travellers could still need to be quarantined

The information available is very clear that the vaccines don't prevent infection with the virus, they suppress symptoms. No one, as yet, knows whether you would be infectious when infected after vaccination. That's really bugging me. Maybe, the vaccines only suppress symptoms within the vaccinated...

And as far as privacy goes, I tend to assume that if you are online, you have just shared with the world to some degree. This week's Sunburst hack shows that it does not matter how paranoid you are, you can still lose data as the US military have just learned. It is why it look me so many years to ...

Kindle - around 400 books

Kindle app on tablet with the biggest sized memory card that fits - 2k+ books & counting.

I know which one I'd take, along with a solar charger!

Hydrogen peroxide can be bought from a hairdressing / beauty wholesaler. Boots & many other independent pharmacies also sell it. It's easy enough to dilute down - there's information here - https://www.mychemicalfreehouse.net/2020/03/dilution-table-for-hydrogen-peroxide.html I wasn't aware that...
